Smithsonian Associates will be hosting a Smithsonian Sleepover at the Natural History Museum this October and are in the need of volunteers to help with this event. This opportunity is a great chance to facilitate activities with a youth audience in a natural history museum setting.
Volunteers will have fun as an Activities Leader at this scavenger-hunt style event. With a fellow volunteer, they will facilitate a game, craft, relay race or another creative activity at a stop along the route. Orientation is provided. The participants are 8 - 14 years old and their chaperoning adults.
We need volunteers from 6 pm to 11 pm on October 25, 2024. Please note: volunteers do not spend the night at these events.
