DC Central Kitchen (DCCK) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and social enterprise that combats hunger and poverty through job training and job creation. DCCK’s social ventures include serving scratch-cooked farm-to-school meals in DC schools, delivering fresh, affordable produce to corner stores in neighborhoods without supermarkets, and operating fast-casual cafes throughout the District of Columbia.
DC Central Kitchen volunteers work alongside our devoted front-line staff and Culinary Job Training students to cut, chop, peel, and prep fresh produce as we prepare balanced meals for our community.
Join us for a food prep shift on Wednesday, September 11th!
