TEDxLogan Circle is seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a global conversation, connect with inspiring speakers and attendees, and contribute to an event that fosters positive change in our community.
We have both virtual and on-site opportunities. We have completed our 2024 window but look forward to finding new team members for 2025.

About TEDxLogan Circle:
TEDxLogan Circle is an independently organized TED event that celebrates the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives, and, ultimately, the world. We are committed to curating an experience that inspires and challenges our audience to think differently about innovation and its impact on our lives.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
We have a variety of volunteer roles available, including:
- Event Production: Assist with event setup, registration, logistics, and breakdown.
- Speaker Support: Welcome speakers, manage green rooms, and assist with presentations.
- Audience Engagement: Facilitate Q&A sessions, manage social media interactions, and gather audience feedback.
- Marketing and Outreach: Promote the event through social media, create content, and distribute marketing materials.
- Partnership Coordination: Build relationships with sponsors and partners, manage outreach, and secure in-kind donations.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for TED and TEDx mission
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- A positive attitude and commitment to excellence
- Availability for 5 hours or more per week
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion
- Familiarity with Washington, D.C., and the local community
- Respect for privacy and commitment to upholding TED and TEDxLogan Circle rules and guidelines
