In this role, volunteers provide administrative support to our nurses' station by buzzing people into our building during office hours, answering phones and delivering messages to the appropriate departments, and assisting patients with making phone calls. This role is pivotal in maintaining smooth operations on our respite floor. It also provides prospective volunteers with the opportunity to experience a respite unit firsthand and engage with our patients on the unit.
