Serve DC is in need of volunteers to help distribute water to District residents who have been affected by the Boil Water Advisory in Ward 5.
The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) has issued a Boil Water Advisory. DC Water advises customers to not drink or cook their water without boiling it first. Serve DC, in partnership with HSEMA and DC Water is in need of volunteers to help distribute water to District residents who have been affected by the Boil Water Advisory in Ward 5.
Volunteers will be asked to do the following:
- Distribute water
- Carry water to vehicles
* Food maybe provided to volunteer at site.
* All activities will occur outside
