#TaketheShot, DC
Join Mayor Muriel Bowser and community leaders on Saturday, May 1st, from 9 am - 3 pm for a Day of Action in support of helping residents making a plan to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Day of Event Logistics:
- There will be 15 centrally located sites across all 8 Wards on the Day of Action for volunteer check-in
- All registered volunteers will receive DC Covid-19 Community Corp swag, along with DC Health one-pagers and FAQ’s
There are 3 volunteer shifts available per site:
- 9 am - 11 am
- 11am-1pm
- 1pm-3pm
Language Access and Accessibility:
- There will be 3 dedicated sites across the city in support of diverse language access needs;
- If you or a neighbor has specific accommodation needs, please contact us at volunteer.servedc@dc.gov
Register for the Day of Action as we help community members make a plan for their COVID-19 vaccine!
- Pick up materials at your selected location and shift on May 1st.
- Help neighbors make a plan through door-to-door canvassing.
