To meet the immediate needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent school closures, Martha's Table will distribute bags of groceries at designated meal distribution sites.
As a volunteer, you'll join our team at our headquarters in SouthEast, DC. to help build bags with a menu of vegetables, fruits, and pantry items. We are pre-packaging so participants can quickly grab food at the sites we deliver to. Volunteers will also help break things down and sanitize the bagging space. This is a behind-the-scenes event, there will be no distribution or community interaction by volunteers, but we will still have music and a ton of fun!
