We're looking for volunteers to deliver food donations! For this opportunity, you'll use your own car or bike to pick up surplus food from a cafe in West End and deliver it to a homeless shelter, mental health community center, or addiction treatment program (varying by day of the week)
We need volunteers to pick up these donations between 8:30am and 10:30am on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, immediately bringing the food to the assigned locations. From start to finish, this food rescue should less than one hour, so you can go anytime during the timeframe. It's a quick and simple way to save food that would otherwise go to waste, while supporting our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
