Help our adult learners find their voice and build confidence through the arts.
Academy of Hope is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Drama Teacher/Coach to lead in-person sessions at our Ward 5 Campus. We have a group of talented adult learners currently working on a special theatre project, and they need your guidance to polish their skills and get stage-ready! You don't need to be a Broadway star—just passionate about theater and helping others grow!
You will help learners:
- Direct & Guide: Assist learners with blocking, line delivery, and character development for their specific project.
- Build self-confidence and stage presence.
- Improve communication and public speaking skills.
- Collaborate: Work with a group of motivated adults to bring their creative vision to fruition.
Time Commitment:
Primary Shift: Thursdays, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Frequency: Once or twice a week. (If you are available for a second day to help with rehearsals, please let us know!)
Location: Ward 5 Campus (In-person).
Why Volunteer With Us?
Inspire: Use your passion for the arts to make a tangible impact on adults in your community.
Connect: Join a community dedicated to high-quality adult education.
Fun: Lead a dynamic, engaging class that breaks up the traditional study routine.
