Join the Youth Action Institute on a trip to Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home where we will visit the residents to bring them companionship and cheer.
During this trip, most volunteers will run crafts and a game of BINGO with the residents while a small group goes from room to room to visit with bed-bound patients.
Stoddard Baptist Nursing Home provides both short-term and long-term care for low-income individuals to ensure that everyone has access to quality care full of dignity, compassion and respect.
This project is open to teens ages 14-18 and is eligible for 2 SSL hours.
