To promote access to healthy food to families in Wards 7 & 8, Martha's Table has full-service no-cost Grocery Markets at our locations in SE and NW, open from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm for shoppers. As a volunteer, you'll join our team at our headquarters in Southeast, D.C. to help set up and operate the market, assist volunteers with shopping from a menu of vegetables, fruits, and pantry items, maintain inventory, unload delivery trucks, build pre-packaged grocery bags, and general maintenance. This is a front-facing activity with direct interaction with community members.
