The National Hispanic Council on Aging (NHCOA) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Hispanic and underserved older adults through education, advocacy, community engagement, and access to essential services.
Based in Washington, DC, NHCOA works to promote healthy aging, dignity, and equity for older adults and their families. Through our housing facility and community programs, we provide culturally and linguistically inclusive services that address health, wellness, nutrition, social connection, technology access, and community support.
Throughout the year, NHCOA hosts a wide range of activities and events, including health fairs, exercise and wellness programs, art and technology classes, food bank distributions in partnership with Capital Area Food Bank, community gardening initiatives, and advocacy events such as Capitol Hill Briefings and Advocacy Days.
Our mission is to empower older adults, amplify their voices, and connect them to the resources and opportunities they need to age with dignity and purpose.
