The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) is a nationwide initiative with local offices in all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It’s here to support people with Medicare, as well as their families and caregivers, by helping them understand their coverage and make confident decisions about their healthcare. How SHIP can help: SHIP counselors provide one-on-one guidance tailored to your needs, including: Breaking down Medicare benefits and eligibility Comparing plans like Part D and Medicare Advantage Navigating enrollment periods and key deadlines Exploring financial assistance programs Solving billing or claims issues Referring you to other helpful services and resources
