The Rotary Club of Washington, DC was founded July 1912 – globally, the 46th Rotary Club to be established following the founding of the very first Rotary Club in Chicago in 1905.

Our brand mantra “Transforming Lives Through Service” defines what we do globally and locally.  Our members provide hands-on service, touching those who need us most.  We are committed to change the world, one person, one family, one community, at a time.
