Creating Change is looking for Room Monitors and Safety Monitors!
Room Monitors:
- Help presenters problem-solve any room needs by working with House Captain team to flag issues for appropriate party (chairs, audiovisual support, accessibility concerns, etc.)
- Use a personal smartphone to scan attendee badges and take attendance via the Pheedloop app Ensuring presenters end on time
- Help to return accessibility equipment, like assisted listening devices, to accessibility team
Note: please sign up for a room monitor position only if you are comfortable downloading the conference app and using a personal smartphone for attendance
Safety Monitors:
- Welcome attendees to the conference space, ensure attendees are displaying their badges,
- Answer questions, remain alert to any issues and flag to the House Captain team (in coordination with the Safety Leads), and direct attendees towards conference resources.
