Volunteer Opportunity: Generational Wealth Sports Summit
We are looking for energetic, dependable volunteers to help make the Generational Wealth Sports Summit a successful and impactful experience for student-athletes and families across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
The Generational Wealth Sports Summit is a free community event designed to help athletes understand that they are more than their sport while giving parents the tools and information needed to support them on and off the field.
Attendees will hear from current and former professional athletes, coaches, sports executives, business leaders, mentors, and wellness professionals. Conversations will focus on mental health, identity, NIL, branding, leadership, financial literacy, life after sports, and preparing for the real world while continuing to pursue athletic goals.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Volunteers may be assigned to assist with:
Guest registration and check-in
Greeting attendees and providing directions
Managing crowd flow and helping guests move between sessions
Serving and distributing food
Serving as microphone runners during panels and audience discussions
Supporting speakers, vendors, activations, and event staff
Assisting with giveaways and event materials
Collecting surveys, feedback, and focus-group responses
Helping evaluate the event’s impact, data, and overall success
Filling other event-day roles as needed
We are looking for volunteers who are welcoming, professional, flexible, and comfortable engaging with athletes, parents, speakers, community partners, and guests.
The day will include live activations, giveaways, free food, music, networking, and powerful conversations created specifically for athletes and families. Volunteers will play an important role in creating an organized, positive, and memorable experience for everyone in attendance.
This is more than an event. It is an opportunity to serve the community, connect with leaders in sports and business, and help student-athletes prepare for life beyond the game.
