Our mission is to provide DC residents equitable access to high-quality recreational programs, services, and facilities - across all 8 Wards. Our vision is to be one of the premier parks and recreation agencies in the United States, and to be THE place in the District of Columbia where fun happens.

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) manages and maintains parks, recreation centers, and facilities across the District of Colombia, offering a wide range of recreational activities, programs, and events for residents and visitors.
